JEO OFFERS VASTRAM TO MANTRALAYAM

Tirumala, 13 April 2017: Tiurmala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju who took part in Sri Sushameendra Tirtha Aradhanotsavams in Mantralayam, offered silk vastrams to Sri Raghavendra Swamy mutt of Mantralayam on behalf of TTD on Thursday.

TTD has been offering silk vatrams to Mantralayam Mutt since 2006. Meanwhile Sri Sushameendra Tirtha was a prominent Hindu saint, who had devotees all over the world, entered the pontifical order of the math in 1985 and became its peethadhipati the next year. Born in Nanjangud, the swamiji’s earlier name was Suprajnendrachar and breathed his last in 2009 when he was 84.
