JEO REVIEWS ON APPALAYAGUNTA BRAHMOTSAVAMS

Venkateswara Swamy at Appalaygunta near Tiruchanoor is scheduled from June 15 to June 23, with Ankurarpanam on June 14, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Thursday reviewed the arrangements for the annual mega religious event.

Reviewing with various HODs in the temple premises itself, the JEO said, as a part of the brahmotsavams there will be Dhwajarohanam in Kataka Lagnam between 9am and 10am on June 15, Kalyanotsavam on June 18, Garuda Seva on 19th June, Rathotsavam on June 22 and Chakrasnanam on June 23.

Meanwhile for Garuda Seva, the processional deity will be adorned with Lakshmi Kasula Haram brought from Tirumala in shobha Yatra at 3pm on June 19.

Later he instructed the Health department officials to maintain hygiene in the temple premises, engineering department to erect beautiful thematic cutouts and electrical illuminations, garden department to decorate with floral themes, vigilance to deploy required number of security personnel especially on Garuda Seva day.

He also instructed PR department to take up the publicity for the event in a wide manner and also to deploy able bodied Srivari Seva volunteers to guide the pilgrims. He has directed the HDPP and other projects to organise attractive programmes with devotional groups in front of the procession of every vehicle during the nine day event.

Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana, SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu, SE Vedic Varsity Sri Sriramulu and other senior officers were also present.
