OVER 25 LAKHS HAD DARSHAN IN MAY 2016

Tirumala, 2 June 2016: Over 25 lakh pilgrims had darshan of Lord Venkateswara in the month of May during the summer vacation this year with the highest numbers being recorded on May 29 where over 1,03,384 pilgrims had darshan on a single day.

While over 60,50,483 pilgrims were distributed Annaprasadams, about 14,51,968 pilgrims had tonsured their heads, over 97,24,718 laddus were distributed to pilgrims.

Meanwhile over 18,529 Srivari Sevakulu have rendered impeccable services to multitude of visiting pilgrims who flooded Tirumala in the areas of Vigilance, Temple, Annaprasadam, Health, VQC compartments, outside lines, luggage centres etc. where pilgrim influx is unprecedented.
