JEO TIRUMALA BRIEFS MEDIA ON BTU TRAFFIC REGULATIONS WITH PPP

TIRUMALA, SEPT. 14: Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Monday briefed media persons over the traffic regulation plan sketched by TTD for the ensuing Brahmotsavams which are going to commence from September 16 with Ankurarpanam on September 15.

The meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala. With the help of Power Point Presentation, the JEO briefed media persons over the various initiatives taken up by TTD to see that there is smooth flow of vehicular traffic in Tirumala during the mega religious event and see that the pilgrims are not put to any sort of inconvenience.

Showing the well designed flow charts of various traffic points, the JEO said this time, following the previous years experience every minute care has been taken to regulate the vehicular traffic. “Since we have segmented crowd in Tirumala, it becomes easy for crowd management. This time we have designed separate traffic routes for RTC and other private vehicles. Even the parking areas for various categories of vehicles have also been marked at different places like PAC III opposite area, Kalyana Vedika, RBRH, Nandakam etc. for RTC parking, small vehicles near Octopus area etc. Continuous announcements by our vigilance sleuths will be made on traffic regulations”, he maintained.

Later briefing on Entry-Exit points into galleries in different mada streets, the JEO said, this time the mechanism is well sketched and there will not be any inconvenience to the devotees.
