JEO TIRUMALA HOISTS THE NATIONAL FLAG IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, 15 August 2014: The Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju hoisted the National Flag in the premises of his camp office in Gokulam Guest House in Tirumala on Friday.

In his maiden I-Day speech delivered at this new premises he called upon the employees of TTD to dedicate more in the service of pilgrims as the National Leaders who dedicated their lives in achieving freedom to the nation. “We should follow their foot steps and accomplish our duties and responsibilites with devotion”, he added.

Complimenting the TTD staff for their team work during the hectic times including forest fires, state wide agitations, heavy rush period etc. the JEO said, though the employees are well versed with their routine work of dealing with multitude of pilgrims, every day starts afresh”, he maintained. He said TTD’s top priority is to provide hassle-free darshan to millions of pilgrims who will be thronging the temple town of Tirumala every day from across the world. “We have succeeded in the newly introduced three-stepped darshan system and now we are planning to reduce the waiting hours for the pilgrims by introducing advance booking of Rs.300 tickets with time slots”, he added.

He complemented the Vigilance, Engineering, Health, Annaprasadam, PRO, Forest and all other departments for always being alert and attentive in executing their respective jobs with commitment.
