JSV PRASAD SWORN IN AS TTD EX-OFFICIO

Tirumala, 9 June 2015: The Principal Secretary to AP Revenue Endowments Sri JSV Prasad IAS sworn in as ex-officio member of TTD board in the temple of Lord Venkateswara on Tuesday.

He was administered oath in the sanctum Sanctorum by TTD Executive Officer Dr D Samba Siva Rao in front of the presiding deity in Bangaru Vakili in Telugu between 8:30am to 9am.

After darshan of Lord Sri JSV Prasad was offered vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam by VEDIC scholars. Later TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, Ttd EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, Tirupati Jeo Sri P Bhaskar offered Silk Vastrams, Prasadam, Teertham and lamination of Lord Venkateswara.

Later speaking to media persons outside the temple, Sri JSV Prasad said, the Lord has given him the opportunity to swear in for the fourth time. “With co-ordination and integrity we (the board) will serve the pilgrims with utmost dedication”, he maintained.
