CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA OFFERS PRAYERS TO HILL LORD

Tirumala, 9 June 2015: The Hon’ble Chief Justice of India Justice HL Dattu offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Tuesday morning.

On his arrival to the temple, he was accorded a warm welcome by TTD Trust Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy, Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and Sri P Bhaskar at Mahadwaram. Supreme Court Judges Justice NV Ramana, Justice Anil Dave also accompanied CJI.

After offering prayers in Tirumala temple, Justice HL Dattu was rendered Vedasirvachanam by the Vedic pundits in Ranganayakula Mandapam. Later he was presented with the Silk Vastrams, Prasadam, Teertham and lamination of Lord Venkateswara by the top brass officials of TTD.

Dist Judge Justice T Anand, IIIrd ADJ Sri TV Ram Babu, Temple DyEO Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Reception Officials Sri Rama Rao, Sri Lakshminarayana Yadav, Peishkar Sri R Selvam and others were present.
