KAREERISTHI YAGAM IN TIRUMALA FROM SEPTEMBER 9-13

Tirumala, 8 September 2015: With an aim to appease Rain God Varuna to get good rains TTD will be observing Kareeristhi Yagam for five days which will commence on September 9 and conclude on September 13 in Tirumala.

This Yagm will be observed by Ritwiks who are experts in Varuna Yagam. After performing special puja to “Pavitra Jalam” in Srivari temple on Wednesday morning, the Kalasas will be taken to Paruveta Mandapam in a procession.

The religious fete will commence with Ganesha Puja followed by Maha Sankalpam. This Yagam will continue for five days and concludes on September 13 with Purnahuthi.
