TIRUMALA, SEPTEMBER 8: With exactly a week left for the annual nine-day mega religious fete of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala, TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao reviewed with the departments heads on status of arrangements.

The meeting was held at Annamaiah Bhavan on Tuesday. During the review meeting he EO complimented the Reception wing of TTD for enhancing the occupancy ratio to 121 percent during last week. “I wish to see the same pace of of occupation even during annual Brahmotsavams also”, EO told the DyEOs of RI, RII and RIII Sri Kodandarama Rao, Sri Harindranath and Smt Jhansi respectively.

Later the EO also commended the Printing Press Dy EO Smt Gauthami and her work force, for having bringing out the Brahmotsavam invitations in an attractive manner. The EO asked all the departments including temple, health, annaprasadam, Kalyanakatta, vigilance and engineering to show significant improvement in their respective areas during the ensuing twin Brahmotsavams than previous years.

The EO directed Garden Deputy Director Sri Srinivasulu and SE Electricals Sri Venkateswarulu to make floral and electrical illumination arrangements in a splendid way than ever before.

RTC To PLY 3500TRIPS ON G-DAY:

Reviewing on the specific arrangements for Garuda Seva, the EO has instructed the vigilance wing to open up Srivari Mettu foot path route for the entire day so as to decongest the movement of pilgrims after witnessing Garuda Seva.

“Open up the Srivari Mettu path round the clock like Alipiri on Garuda Seva day alone. Make sufficient light arrangements all along the route. As there may be chances of movement of wild animals, the forest department should deploy its force to guide the pilgrims. For every 25 steps deploy two persons. The pilgrims should be given instructions to trek in groups and continuous announcements should be made accordingly”, he instructed the Forest Chief of TTD Sri Sivaramprasad.

Later the EO asked the APSRTC to operate some buses from Srivari Mettu to enable the pilgrims coming from Chittoor, Bangalore routes to reach their destination.

Meanwhile the APSRTC RM Sri V Nagasivudu briefed EO that on ordinary days APSRTC will be plying 452 buses with 1585 trips, during Brahmotsavams 452 buses with 2289 trips while on Gauda Seva day, 512 buses with 3500 trips.

EO INSPECTS ANNAPRASADAM:

After the review meeting TTD EO inspected Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annaprasada Bhavanam in Tirumala. He has instructed the Deputy EO Sri C Ramana and Catering Officer Sri Shastry to make effective use of buffet system in hall number 4 especially during Brahmotsavams. He also instructed them to increase the time of food serving during mega religious event for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims.

Tirupati JEO and In-charge Tirumala JEO Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Deputy EO Temple Sri C Ramana, Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy and other officers were also present.
