Tirumala, 27 April 2023: TTD JEO Sri Veerabrahmam on Thursday evening appealed to locals, shop keepers in Tirumala to voluntarily support TTD efforts to keep Tirumala clean and hygiene.
Speaking to residents of Balaji Nagar after a visit to the area along with TTD Estate Wing officials, the JEO said the shop owners, fast food operators etc. should help TTD in segregating their wet and dry garbages separately and depose them in the sanitary lorries often.
He said in the wake of the lightning strike by the sanitary workers without prior notice, it becomes the utmost responsibility of the residents and others to rise to the situation at the need of the hour. The locals and shop keepers also agreed to extend voluntary support to TTD in keeping the environs in the divine Tirumala Hills healthy.

తిరుమల, 2023 ఏప్రిల్ 27: పారిశుద్ధ్య కార్మికుల సమ్మె నేపథ్యంలో అందరూ బాధ్యతగా భావించి స్వచ్ఛందంగా పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ చేపట్టాలని టిటిడి జెఈవో శ్రీ వీరబ్రహ్మం పిలుపునిచ్చారు. గురువారం సాయంత్రం టిటిడి ఎస్టేట్ ప్రత్యేకాధికారి శ్రీ మల్లికార్జున, ఇతర అధికారులతో కలిసి తిరుమల బాలాజీ నగర్ ను సందర్శించారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా స్థానికులను ఉద్దేశించి జెఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ బాలాజీ నగర్, ఆర్ బి సెంటర్లను డివిజన్లుగా విభజించుకుని వాలంటీర్లుగా ఏర్పడి పరిశుభ్రంగా ఉంచుకోవాలని సూచించారు. అలాగే వ్యాపార సముదాయాల వద్ద, హాకర్లు, దుకాణాలు, ఫాస్ట్ ఫుడ్ సెంటర్లు, హోటళ్ల వద్ద తడి, పొడి చెత్తను వేరువేరుగా ఉంచుకొని చెత్త లారీ వచ్చినప్పుడు మాత్రమే వారికి అందించాలన్నారు. ఇలా నెల రోజుల పాటు స్వచ్ఛందంగా పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ చేసుకునే అవసరం ఏర్పడిందని చెప్పారు. స్థానికులు అంగీకారం తెలుపుతూ స్వచ్ఛందంగా పారిశుద్ధ్య నిర్వహణ చేసుకునేందుకు మద్దతు ప్రకటించారు.
