KNOWLEDGE COULD BE GAINED ONLY BY READING BOOKS _ పుస్తక పఠనంతోనే విజ్ఞానం : టిటిడి జెఈవో శ్రీ పి.బ‌సంత్ కుమార్‌
Tirupati, 23 Nov. 19: Tirupati Joint Executive Officer, Sri P Basant Kumar told the student that they should cultivate the habit of reading books which is the only way for gaining knowledge and wisdom.
Participating in the Library Week at Sri Padmavati Degree and PG College the JEO said that libraries and book reading should dominate the student days to arm themselves with opinion making on various issues of the world. Besides being competitive in studies, understanding the changes around you is possible only through the books.
He said all the books in the TTD libraries were being digitalized for the benefit of the students.
Earlier the JEO inaugurated a book exhibition in the college and also unveiled the college calendar of events for the year 2019-20.
Devasthanams Education Officer Dr Ramana Prasad, College Principal Dr Mahadevamma, faculty members and students participated in the event.

తిరుపతి, 2019 న‌వంబ‌రు 23: విద్యార్థులు చిన్న వయసు నుండి పుస్తకాలు చదవడాన్ని అలవాటు చేసుకోవాలని, పుస్తక పఠనంతోనే విజ్ఞానం కలుగుతుందని టిటిడి జెఈవో శ్రీ పి.బ‌సంత్ కుమార్‌ పేర్కొన్నారు. తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ ప‌ద్మావ‌తి మ‌హిళా డిగ్రీ మ‌రియు పిజి క‌ళాశాల‌లో గ్రంథాల‌య వారోత్స‌వాలు శనివారం ఘ‌నంగా జ‌రిగాయి.
ఈ కార్య‌క్ర‌మానికి ముఖ్య అతిధిగా విచ్చేసిన జెఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ గ్రంథాల‌యాల‌ను ఉప‌యోగించుకుని విద్యార్థి ద‌శ నుండి మంచి న‌డ‌వ‌డిక క‌లిగి ఉండాల‌న్నారు. పుస్తక పఠనం చేసేవారు వివిధ అంశాలపై కచ్చితమైన అభిప్రాయాలను చెప్పగలరన్నారు. విద్యార్థిద‌శ‌లో విజ్ఞాన్ని సంపాదించుకోవాలంటే క‌ళాశాల‌లోని గ్రంథ‌ల‌యాలు ఎంత‌గానో ఉప‌యోగ‌ప‌డ‌తాయ‌న్నారు. మార్కుల కోసం పోటీపడడంతోపాటు మన చుట్టూ జరుగుతున్న మార్పులను తెలుసుకోవ‌డానికి ప్ర‌తి ఒక్క‌రు స‌మ‌యాన్ని కేటాయించాల‌ని సూచించారు.
టిటిడి విద్యా సంస్థ‌ల‌లోని గ్రంథాల‌యంలోని పుస్త‌కాల డిజిట‌లైజేష‌న్ త్వ‌ర‌గా పూర్తి చేసి, విద్యార్థుల‌కు ఈ – జ‌ర్న‌ల్స్ అందుబాటులో ఉంచ‌నున్న‌ట్లు తెలిపారు.
అంత‌కుముందు జెఈవో క‌ళాశాల‌లో పుస్తక ప్ర‌ద‌ర్శ‌న శాల‌ను ప్రారంభించి, క‌ళాశాల క్యాలెండ‌ర్ 2019-20 పుస్త‌కాన్ని ఆవిష్క‌రించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి డిఈవో డా. ర‌మ‌ణ‌ప్ర‌సాద్‌, ఎస్‌.వి.యూనివర్శిటి క‌ళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా. ప‌ద్మిని, శ్రీ ప‌ద్మావ‌తి క‌ళాశాల ప్రిన్సిపాల్ డా. మ‌హ‌దేవ‌మ్మ, ఇత‌ర అధ్యాప‌కులు, విద్యార్థినులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
