KOIL ALWAR TIRUMANJANAM PERFORMED PRIOR TO VAIKUNTHA EKADASI _ శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ఘనంగా కోయిల్‌ ఆళ్వార్‌ తిరుమంజనం
Tirumala, 26 December 2017:The traditional temple cleansing festival, Koil Alwar Tirumanjanam was performed with religious fervour in the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala on Tuesday prior to the auspicious Vaikuntha Ekadasi.
According to the temple tradition, apart from Tirumala temple, the sub-shrines inside Maha Prakaram, were also cleansed with an aromatic mixture called “Parimalam” which is made out of an amalgamation of turmeric, vermilion, kicchiligadda-a root plant and smeared all along the walls, floor, roof of the main temple and sub-temples. Even the puja utensils kept inside sanctum sactorum was also cleaned. While the cleaning process is on, the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara is covered with a white veil.
This cleansing process took place between 6am to 10am. Later all the puja materials were brought back to the temple and the cover on the deity was removed. The Sarva Darshan commenced from 11am onwards to pilgrims.
TTD has cancelled Astadala Pada Padmaradhana Seva in connection with this religious event on Tuesday.
The Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal, CVSO Sri A Ravikrishna, Temple DyEO Sri Kodanda Rama Rao and others were also present.

డిసెంబరు 26, తిరుమల, 2017 ; వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి పర్వదినాన్ని పురస్కరించుకొని మంగళవారంనాడు శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో కోయిల్‌ ఆళ్వార్‌ తిరుమంజనం ఘనంగా జరిగింది. సాధారణంగా సంవత్సరంలో నాలుగు సార్లు కోయిల్‌ ఆళ్వార్‌ తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీ. ఉగాది, ఆణివార ఆస్థానం, బ్రహ్మూెత్సవం, వైకుంఠ ఏకాదశి పర్వదినాల ముందు మంగళవారం ఆలయ శుద్ధి కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహిస్తారు.
ఇందులోభాగంగా ఉదయం 6 నుండి 10 గంటల వరకు గర్భాలయం, ఉప ఆలయాలు, పోటును అర్చకులు ఆగమోక్తంగా శుద్ధి చేశారు. ఆలయ సిబ్బంది అత్యంత భక్తిశ్రద్ధలతో శుద్ధి కార్యక్రమంలో పాల్గొన్నారు. మధ్యాహ్నం 11 గంటల నుండి సర్వదర్శనం ప్రారంభమైంది.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్‌, సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఆకే రవికృష్ణ, శ్రీవారి ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీకోదండరామారావు, ఇతర అధికారులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
