LAKSHABILWARCHANA IN SRI KT ON NOV 28

Tirupati, 26 November 2015: The Lakshabilwarchana Seva will be observed in Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple in Tirupati on November 28.
This Seva will be performed with one Lakh Bilwa leaves (Bael Tree). The trifoliate Bilva Patra is so sacred to Lord Shiva and is therefore a symbol of the Lord. The trifoliate leaves are often considered to the “Trinetra” of Lord and hence the puja assumes importance. On Saturday, this Seva will be observed between 6am to 12noon.

Later in the evening the processional deities of Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru and Lord Sri Kapileswara Swamy will be taken on a procession.

Meanwhile Rudra Yagam will be performed from November 29 till December 9 as a part of the Homa Mahotsavams in the temple.
