LINKING OF GODAVARI WITH KRISHNA, A BLESSING OF LORD VENKATESWARA, SAYS AP CM

Tirumala, 16 Sep 2015: AP chief minister Sri N Chandrababu Naidu today reiterated that the integration of Krishna river with the Godavari river achieved today through the Patti seema project was nothing but a blessing of Lord Venkateswara.

Speaking to media persons at the Golla mandapam after the presenting of vastrams to Lord Venkateswara as per customs, Chief Minister said almost every one, the Prime Ministrt and President had strongly advocated for such an integration of rivers for benefit of millions of people which has been put to practice and achieved only in Andhra Pradesh on the eve of the Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara.

Sri Naidu reminisced that 12 years ago he was survived a dastardly attack by Maoists with a land mine only due to the blessings of Lord Venkateswara. ‘All these had strengthened his devotion and belief in Lord Venkateswara and his commitment to promote TTD and Tirumnala as a holy institutions and to protect, preserve and promote Sanatana Hindu dharma.

He said that Tirupati and tirumala are on anvil of a massive development mandate and the airport near the temple town of Tirupati has already been elevated to international standards with global facilities. ‘Several major national and global industries were also emerging on the horizon of Tirupati near Renigunta.

The chief minister said that the unique scheme of Anna Prasadam launched by his mentor and fiounder of the TDP has now shaped up as a massive umbrella of shelter and support to the pilgrims coming to Tirumala in huge numbers. He said the TTD will remain committed to its motto to serve the mankind and promote and protect Sanatana Hindu dharma.
