LORD AT YOU DOOR STEPS THROUGH DHARMA RATHA YATRA-DY CM
KORUKONDA, NOV 29: The novel idea of the spiritual programme mulled by TTD- Dharma Ratha Yatra has brought the Universal God, Lord Venkateswara at your door steps said, TTD Deputy Chief Minister Sri N Chinna Rajappa.
The Honourable Dy CM who inaugurated the Dharma Ratha Yatra under the aegis of TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad(HDPP) wing in Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple at Korukonda village near Rajamundry in East Godavari District on Saturday said, the main aim behind this programme is to enhance the spiritual fervour among the villagers. He complimented TTD for having introduced this novel concept and involving public in “Bhakti Chaitanya” through Dharma Ratha Yatra.
TTD’s Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, said, this yatra will cover all the villages and hamlets in the district for a period of one month. He said, on December 1 the yatra will reach Devipatnam, 2nd in Maredmalle, 3rd in Rampachodavaram, 4th in Gangavaram, Rajavommangi, 12th in Mummidivaram, 18th in Amalapuram, December 29 in Rajamundry. Apart from this, Srinivasa Kalyanams will also be conducted in eight places during the month long programme. On December 3, there will be spiritual discourse by Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao during the Srinivasa Kalyanam that will be performed at Rampachodavaram”, he added.
HDPP Secretary Sri S Raghunath said, the Ratha Yatra will proceed covering Maredumalle, Tuni, Pithapuram, Yanam, Ainavilli, Amalapuram, Kadiyam, Sitanagaram, Rajanagaram, Rajamundry etc. The locals will have an opportunity to have darshan of the replica statue of Lord Venkateswara present inside the Ratham. TTD will also distribute Srivari prasadams, kankanams, vermilion packets of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru, devotional pustaka prasadam to the villagers of the respective hamlets”,he added.
The pontiff of Sri Krishnashramam of Smarlakota Sri Krishnanandagiri Swamy, local legislator Sri Venkateswsara Rao, MLC Sri Chaitanya Raju, Dharma Prachara Mandali Secretary Sri Satish, Vice-President Sri Bhava Narayana, Srivari Seva volunteers, bhajan teams etc were also present.
