LORD PASUPATHI TAKES RIDE ON SESHA ON THURSDAY

Tirupati, 3 March 2016: The processional deities of Lord Sri Kapileswara Swamy along with Goddess Parvathi were taken around on Sesha Vahanam in the evening on Thursday as a part of ongoing annual Brahmotsavams in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple.

SESHA VAHANAM: Sesha is considered to be the ardent servant of both Hari-Hara. While Lord Shiva adorns the serpent as his divine neck, shoulder and waist ornament. Hence Lord Shiva is also known as “Nagabhushana”. On Thursday evening the Lord took celestial ride on Sesha vahanam.

DyEO Sri Balaji, AEO Sri Subramanyam, Temple Inspector Sri Srinivasulu, Exe Engineer Sri Jagadeeswara Reddy and others took part in the event.
