PROTECTION OF VEDIC KNOWLEDGE IS PRIME MOTTO OF TTD

Tirumala, 3 March 2016: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao asserted that the protection and promotion of vedas is one of the prime objectives of TTD.

CUSTODIAN OF HINDU DHARMA THROUGH PROMOTION OF VEDAS

Addressing the valedictory session of the 27th Veda Agama Sastra Vidwat Sadas in Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham on Thursday evening, the EO said, TTD being the custodian of country’s richest temple of Lord Venkateswara is committed towards bringing the past glory to the immortal sacred language of the world.

SEVEN TOPPERS GIVEN BENEFITS OF VEDA PARAYANAM SCHEME

“Today I have come to know that out of 219 students who took part in the Vidwat exams, 146 passed out of which 90 stood in first class and the rest in second class. I appreciate all the students of different categories of vedic studies. As a token, We have decided to provide financial aid to the toppers of Divya Prabandha, Rigveda, Adharvana Veda Koutuma sakha, Krishna Yajurveda Maitrayaniya, Krishna Yajurveda Taittiriya, Sukla Yajurveda, Sama Veda divisions under Veda Parayanadar Scheme and also will utilise their services as faculty in respective areas in future”, he added.

VEDAS ARE BASE FOR HINDU SANATANA DHARMA-PONTIFF

HH Sri Ramachandra Ramanuja Jiyar Swamy of Bhashyakarla Siddhanti Peetham in his spiritual message said Vedas are the base for Hindu Sanatana Dharma and all the languages and subjects emerged from this sacred text only.

TTD ALONE CAN SUSTAIN THE LEGACY OF VEDIC KNOWLEDGE

Sri Prahladacharya, former VC of RSVP in his address said, the temple management of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams alone can preserve, protect and promote Vedic studies for future generations.

VEDAS ARE IMMORTAL

The special officer of All Projects Sri N Muktheswara Rao said Vedas are immortal and underwent transformation without deviating from its actual form since the evolution of primitive man.

Later 5gm gold dollars have been presented to all the toppers in the exam and 10gm silver dollars to the seconds. Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Principal Sri KSS Avadhani and other scholars hailing from different parts of the country were also present.
