MAHA SAMPROKSHANAM IN SRI GT FROM APRIL 7 TO 12_ ఏప్రిల్‌ 7 నుండి 12వ తేదీ వరకు శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో మహాసంప్రోక్షణ
Tirupati, 6 April 2018: The traditional ritual of Maha Samprokshanam will be observed in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati from April 7-12.
This religious event takes place once in every 12 years and in the past it took place in May 2004. The repairs and renovation works inside the sanctum commenced in December last and “Balalayam” was performed.
Ankurarpanam will be performed on April 7 while Mahapurnahuti will be observed at 2:30am in the temple on April 12 in the Yagashala.
The Pranapratista to main deity with Kalasthapana will be done on the same day in Meena Lagna between 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
In the evening the lord will take celestial ride on Pedda Sesha Vahanam in the four mada streets of the temple.

తిరుపతి, 2018 ఏప్రిల్‌ 06: టిటిడికి అనుబంధంగా ఉన్న తిరుపతిలోని శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయ మహాసంప్రోక్షణ ఏప్రిల్‌ 7 నుండి 12వ తేదీ వరకు వైఖానస ఆగమోక్తంగా నిర్వహించనున్నారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమానికి ఏప్రిల్‌ 7వ తేదీ శనివారం రాత్రి 7.30 గంటలకు అంకురార్పణం జరుగనుంది.
శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి ఆలయం, ఇతర అనుబంధ ఆలయాలలో జీర్ణోద్ధరణ (ఆధునీకరణ పనులు) గత సంవత్సరం డిసెంబరులో చేెపట్టిన విషయం విధితమే.
ఇందులో భాగంగా శ్రీ గోవిందరాజస్వామివారి సన్నిధిలోని ద్వారపాలకులు, గరుడాళ్వారు, ధ్వజస్తంభం, ఎదురు ఆంజనేయస్వామివారు, భాష్యకార్లు, కూరత్తాళ్వార్‌, మధురకవి ఆళ్వార్‌, మొదలియాండన్‌ ఆలయాల మహాసంప్రోక్షణ కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించనున్నారు.
ఏప్రిల్‌ 7న నూతన ధ్వజస్తంభం ప్రతిష్ట
ఏప్రిల్‌ 7వ తేదీ శనివారం ఉదయం 10.30 గంటలకు ఆలయంలో నూతన ధ్వజస్తంభంను శాస్త్రోక్తంగా ప్రతిష్టించనున్నారు.
