Make Brahmotsavams a rich spiritual experience to Devotees-EO

Tirupati, September  1: TTD Executive Officer Sri L V Subramaniam today directed officials to make foolproof arrangements for the twin Brahmotsavams occurring this year and ensure that the devotees get the maximum spiritual and devotional experience during the 9 plus 9-day festival.
 
Reviewing the arrangements for the festival at Annamayya Bhavan this morning with heads of all departments of the TTD  the EO Sri  Subramaniam said it would be mandatory for the devotees to wear the traditional dress of lungi or dhoti and sarees when they want to offer harati to Lord Venkateswara during the processions on the Mada streets during  Brahmotsavams.
 
He said all the sign boards being set up all along the ghat road from Tirupati to Tirumala should have  Govinda Namavali and proper directions to devotees on the facilities and their duties while at Tirumala shrine.
 
He directed the officials to set up a coordination mechanism between the police and the administration to ensure smooth, peaceful and trouble-free darshan and visit for the devotees. He said the first floor of the old Annadanam hall will also be put to use for devotes welfare after proper repairs.
 
He also asked the  PRO to ensure that all publications, CDs and DVDs of TTD are made available at all the points during he Brahmotsavams, particularly during the Vahanam procession  in the evenings and mornings.  He also wanted that more Srivari Sevaks were roped into service during the Brahmotsavams to provide drinking water, buttermilk and prasadams to devotes sitting in the galleries around  Mada streets . He also wanted the   PRO department to organize  exhibitions  to highlight the glory of Tirumala and also its achievements  in flower decorations , electrical decorations etc 
 
The EO also instructed the officials of Electrical Department to  give advance publicity through media on parking for vehicles, besides organising  huge LCD display screens   and also electrification  all around Tirumala so that  devotees could witness the sevas and also processions of the Lord Venkateswara throughout the festival and do not miss  the spiritual experience.
 
Sri Subramaniam also advised  the officials of the SVBC to prepare more quality special programs  about Tirumala and Bramotsavams for and broadcast them for the benefit of  mass of devotees who come for the festival. 
 
The EO also exhorted the officials of  Sanitation and Health to ensure  clean and green Tirumala so that there is an epidemic crisis and that  devotees go back with a rich experience of Tirumala.
 
The  Joint EO  K S Srinivasa Raju, Tirupati Rural SP  Prabhakar Rao, CVSO of TTD Sri G V S V Ashok Kumar, DRO Sheshaiah besides officials of the RTC and Police department participated in the meeting.
