‘MAKE TIRUPATI A SPIRITUAL HUB” – TTD EO SRI AK SINGHAL
Tirupati, 30 May 2017: TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal urged informed district and TTD officials to come out with a perfect action plan to make pilgrim city of Tirupati a “Spiritual Hub”.
A high level review meeting with district officials as well TTD top brass officials took place in the chambers of TTD EO in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Tuesday. Apart from District Collector, TUDA, TIrupati Corporation top brass officers also took part in this review meeting. Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, day by day the pilgrim crowd to Tirupati is increasing by many folds. As such there is every need to beautify the premises of this world renowned temple city. For this we need a specific action plan to enhance the beauty and glory of our city”, he felt.
Later the EO also negotiated on the importance of Kalyani Dam water for Tirumala. “Keeping in view the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala, some more water need to be pumped from Kalyani Dam”, he maintained.
The EO said, there are nine main roads extending about 26km in Tirupati laid by TTD. “A concrete action plan is needed towards the development and maintenance of these roads”, he instructed the engineering wing officials.
Chittoor District Collector Sri Pradyumna, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, TUDA VC and TMC Commissioner Sri CH Hari Kiran, Tirupati Sub-Collector Sri Nishanth Kumar, TUDA Secretary Smt Madhavi Latha, CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, SE I Sri Ramesh Reddy, DFO Sri Sivaram Prasad and other officers were also present.
