MANA NEERU- MANA MATTI- MANA AMARAVATHI CAMPAIGN BEGINS IN TIRUMALA

• TTD officials to collect water and soil from thirthams and holy Seshachala hills
• Vessels of holy water and holy soils to be handed over to CM on October 18

Tirumala, October 16:The unique campaign ‘ Mana Matti- Mana Neeru – Mana Amaravati – kicked off at Tirumala today with various TTD units making efforts to collect water and soil from Tirumala Hillocks .

The water from holy thirthas of Tirumala and soil from sacred peaks of Seven Hills were being collected in vessels today and on Saturday by teams of TTD officials led by their section heads and will be symbolically handed over to AP Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu who will be at the hill shrine on Sunday,says the TTD PRO Dr T.Ravi.

As part of the exercise CV & SO Sri G.Nagendra Kumar and his team collected water and soil at Gali gopuram spot,while the team of Sri Ramachandra Reddy, SE-2 went to Akasha Ganga and Papavinasam region. Sri. Shivarama Prasad, the Divisional Forest officer team gathered material at Chakrathirtha and the Health Officer, Dr Sharmista team gathered them at Shila thoranam .The team of Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana collected water and soil at Narayanagiri gardens area.

On Saturday the the JEO of Tirupati Sri Pola Bhaskar and local temples DyEO Sri Balaji will collect water and soil from Kapila thirtham and Srivari Mettu while Tirumala JEO Sri K S Sreenivasa Raju gather holy water from the Swami Pushkarini.

All the holy water and holy soil thus collected will be placed at Sri Varahaswamy temple and later brought in a procession where they would be ceremonially handed over to the Chief Minister Sri Chandrababu Naidu who is arriving on Sunday.
