MANAGUDI IS A MASS SPIRITUAL PROGRAMME- TTD EO

Tirupati, 23 Aug. 15: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Sunday advocated that the chief moto of Managudi programme is to bring mass spiritual revolution among people.

An awareness programme with the DPMs of various districts of Andhra Pradesh took place in SVETA Bhavan. Speaking on this occasion TTD EO called up on the members of DPMs also to involve the local srivari sevakulu, Bhajan Mandali members, Self Help Groups, students in this mass temple programme which will be observed for three days on August 27, 28 and 29 respectively. “This time we are distributing four crore Govinda Raksha Kankanams and our objective of public participation in Managudi becomes huge success of the Kankanams are worn by every devotee”, he added.

Later the Principal Secretary Revenue Endowments Sri JSV Prasad said, Temples are the identity of our rich culture, tradition and heritage. “The very sight of the presiding deity in our temples gives us both physical and mental strength and that is the greatness of our dharma. Every devotee should voluntarily take part in this programme in a big way and bring back past glory to the temples which are void of Pujas”, he maintained.

Endowments Commissioner Smt YV Anuradha, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, HDPP chief Sri Prayaga RamaKrishna, all DPMs of AP were also present.
