MORE AMENITIES IN KKC

Tirumala, 5 August 2016: The TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao said, that more amenities will be created in main kalyanakatta to see that the pilgrims are not forced to stand in queue lines for more time.

After the monthly Dial Your EO programme on Friday, the EO inspected the main kalyanakatta, shoe counters, luggage counters in PAC IV and personally verified the available amenities to the pilgrims.

Later speaking to media persons he said, very soon some improvisations will be brought in main KKC for the sake of the pilgrims. “We have also noticed that there is no proper ventilation even for the tonsurers who perform duties here. So we are also providing better ventilation measures to them. On the other hand we are also contemplating to interlink the PAC IV with main kalyanakatta for the benefit of the pilgrims. As the PAC IV located opposite to main KKC has over 140 bathrooms the pilgrims can keep their baggages here and after tonsuring can utilise these bathrooms”, he observed.

CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, SE II Sri Ramachandra Reddy, VGO Sri Ravindra Reddy and others were also present.
