NAVAVIDHA BHAKTI MARGAM TAUGHT BY ANNAMA IN HIS KEERTANS

Tirupati,14 May 2017: The Nava Vidha Bhakti was clearly taught by Saint Poet Sri Tallapaka Annamacharya in his Kritis, said scholars.

On the fourth day of the ongoing seven day literary program on the occasion of 609th Annamacharya Jayanthi Mahotsavams on Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Sunday, Sri M Brahmananda Shastry advocated Annamaiah preached the Nava Vidha Bhakti Vidhanam through his impeccable songs. “The ultimate goal of the Saint poet is to make the masses to chant the divine names by singing his Kritis which could be easily spelt by common man”, he observed.

Later Dr G Sambasiva Rao, Dr GV Shankar Rao also spoke on the versatility and style of Annamaiah Kritis.

In the evening the Sangeetha Vibhavari by renowned musician Sri Malladi Suri Babu enthralled he audience. Similarly in Mahati auditorium also the devotional music mused the denizens.
