TIRUMALA, JULY 4: The new Sarva Bhupala Vahanam will be a special attraction for the ensuing annual brahmotsavams in Tirumala, said Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
A high level first review meeting on the upcoming Salakatla Srivari Brahmotsavams was held at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Tuesday by Tirumala JEO along with Chief Vigilance and Security Officer (CVSO) Sri A Ravi Krishna, Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty, RTC officials and other HoDs, senior officers of TTD.
In the four-hour long review meeting, the JEO initially briefed the entire activity, importance, bundobust measures, sensitivity and sentiments of pilgrims associated with the country’s one of the most important mega religious fetes to the CVSO and Urban SP of Tirupati as they have recently taken their respective charges. Later the JEO reviewed in elaborate about the progress of works with respect to various departments for the annual fete.
Later speaking to media persons, the JEO said as in previous years all the endeavor will be to ensure safety of pilgrims as well provide them hassle free vahana and srivari darshan. “This year the annual brahmotsavams will be from September 23 to October 1 with Ankurarpanam onSeptember 22. The other important days includes Garuda Seva on September 27, Swararatham onSeptember 28, Rathotsavam on September 30 and Chakrasnanam on October 1. The Honourable Chief Minister Sri N Chandra Babu Naidu will present the silk vastrams on behalf of state government on the first day of brahmotsavams on September 23″, he added.
Elaborating on arrangements the JEO said, this year we will have new Sarvabhupala Vahanam for the annual fete. On September 6, the trial run of Garuda Seva will be performed on Pournami evening. The cleansing of Swamy pushkarini waters will be taken up on August 1 and will be completed before a month’s time.
Adding further the JEO said, as in previous years, no two wheelers will be allowed to ply on Garuda Seva day. The RTC will operate 3000 trips of buses. Both the foot path routes will remain open 24X7. Six lakh water sachets and three lakh butter milk packets will be distributed on Garuda seva day in galleries. With the co-operation of police more vehicle parking places will be identified in Tirupati in the next few days and there will be no compromise on security arrangements”, he maintained.
MORE TECHNOLOGY: The CVSO of TTD Sri A Ravikrishna said hi-fi security gadgets will be utilised to provide better security measures for the ensuing brahmotsavams. “We will co-ordinate with the police and do elaborate arrangements”, he added.
SAFE DARSHAN: Ensuring “Safe Darshan” to pilgrim devotees is our first and foremost priority during the upcoming mega religious event, said Tirupati Urban SP Sri Abhishek Mohanty. He said since we have limited geographical space in Tirumala, we need to work on better security prospects along with TTD and serve the pilgrims in best possible manner”, he said.
CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, SEs Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Ramesh Reddy, Sri Venkateswarulu, other HoDs, Tirumala police officers, RTC officials were also present. Apart from the officers of TTD, a team of trainee IAS officers also took part in this review meeting. Tirumala JEO has given them a clear picture of TTD administrative set up, functioning, execution of fairs and festivals etc.

తిరుమల, 2017 జూలై 04: కలియుగ ప్రత్యక్షదైవం తిరుమల శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి సాలకట్ల బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలు ఈ ఏడాది సెప్టెంబరు 23వ తారీఖు నుండి అక్టోబరు 1వ తారీఖు వరకు జరుగనున్నాయని, టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ అనిల్‌కుమార్‌ సింఘాల్‌ సూచనల మేరకు అన్ని విభాగాల అధికారులు ఇప్పటినుంచే ప్రణాళికలు రూపొందించుకుని సిద్ధం కావాలని టిటిడి తిరుమల జెఈవో శ్రీకెఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు ఆదేశించారు. తిరుమల అన్నమయ్యభవనంలో మంగళవారం ఉదయం టిటిడి అధికారులు, తిరుపతి, తిరుమల పోలీస్‌ అధికారులతో ఆయన సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు.
సమావేశానంతరం జెఈఓ మీడియా ప్రతినిధులతో మాట్లాడుతూ సెప్టెంబరు 22వ తేదీ సాయంత్రం అంకురార్పణ, సెప్టెంబరు 23న ధ్వజారోహణంతో బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలు ప్రారంభమౌతాయని తెలిపారు. ధ్వజారోహణం రోజు రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వం తరపున గౌ|| ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు శ్రీవారికి పట్టు వస్త్రాలు సమర్పిస్తారని వెల్లడించారు. బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా సెప్టెంబరు 27న గరుడ వాహనం, సెప్టెంబరు 28న స్వర్ణరథం, సెప్టెంబరు 30న రథోత్సవం, అక్టోబరు 1న చక్రస్నానం నిర్వహించనున్నట్టు వివరించారు. సెప్టెంబరు 6న పౌర్ణమి గరుడ సేవను పురస్కరించుకుని మాదిరి గరుడసేవను నిర్వహిస్తామని తెలిపారు. ఇందులో ఎదురయ్యే సమస్యలు బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలు తిరిగి ఉత్పన్నం కాకుండా తగిన చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామన్నారు.
ఈ బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో నూతన సర్వభూపాల వాహనాన్ని వినియోగించనున్నట్టు జెఈవో తెలిపారు. బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో భక్తులకు సేవలందించేందుకు ఇప్పటికే 2 వేల మంది భక్తులు ఆన్‌లైన్‌లో నమోదు చేసుకున్నారని చెప్పారు. గరుడసేవ రోజు నిరంతరాయంగా భక్తులకు అన్నప్రసాద వితరణ ఉంటుందని తెలిపారు. బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల రోజుల్లో తిరుమలలో పార్కింగ్‌కు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా ప్రత్యేకంగా స్థలాలను కేటాయిస్తామన్నారు. గరుడసేవ నాడు తిరుమల, తిరుపతిలో పార్కింగ్‌ ఏర్పాట్లు చేపడతామన్నారు.
టిటిడి సివిఎస్‌వో శ్రీ ఎ.రవికృష్ణ మాట్లాడుతూ బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల్లో ఆధునిక సాంకేతిక పరిజ్ఞానాన్ని వినియోగించి భక్తులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బందులు లేకుండా మెరుగైన భద్రతా ఏర్పాట్లు చేపడతామన్నారు. అవసరమైన అన్ని ప్రాంతాల్లో ఆధునిక సిసి కెమెరాలు ఏర్పాటుచేస్తామన్నారు. తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ ఎస్‌పితో సమన్వయం చేసుకుని బందోబస్తు, పార్కింగ్‌ ఏర్పాట్లు చేపడతామన్నారు.
తిరుపతి అర్బన్‌ ఎస్‌పి శ్రీ అభిషేక్‌ మహంతి మాట్లాడుతూ శ్రీవారి బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలకు భద్రతా విధుల్లో పాల్గొనడం అదృష్టంగా భావిస్తున్నానని తెలిపారు. భక్తులు ప్రశాంతంగా శ్రీవారి దర్శించుకునేలా భద్రతా చర్యలు చేపడతామని, రద్దీని క్రమబద్ధీకరించేందుకు అదనంగా పోలీసులను, హోంగార్డులను డెప్యూటేషన్‌పై తీసుకొస్తామని వివరించారు.
అంతకుముందు విభాగాల వారీగా చేపట్టాల్సిన ఏర్పాట్లపై జెఈవో సమీక్ష నిర్వహించారు. శ్రీవారి ఆలయం, ఇంజినీరింగ్‌, ఎలక్ట్రికల్‌, ప్రజాసంబంధాల విభాగం, అన్నప్రసాదాలు, కల్యాణకట్ట, ఆరోగ్య, వైద్యం, నిఘా మరియు భద్రత, రవాణా, రిసెప్షన్‌, ఉద్యానవన, అటవీ విభాగాల అధికారులు ఎలాంటి రాజీకి తావు లేకుండా బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాల ఏర్పాట్లు చేపట్టాలని జెఈవో సూచించారు.
