Tirumala, 7 March 2018: The HRD experts told the Kalyanakatta Barbers to offer services to pilgrims with love and affection and enhance the reputation of the institution.

An orientation programme for barbers was held at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Wednesday. About 500 barbers participated in this session.

HRD expert Sri Raghottama Rao from SVETA in his address said, majority of pilgrims visit barbers first before paying visit to Lord to fulfil their wish of offering hairs as a mark of total surrender.

“The Lord has given you all this opportunity and hence it becomes the noble responsibility on all of you to serve the pilgrim with utmost affection who has offered his or head head for tonsuring with lot of credibility on you. If you say some good words, that will not only boost the image of you but also the institution. The pilgrim will happily propagate the warmth which you have shown to him when he goes back to his native place”, he said.

Another expert Sri C Siva Kumar said, It’s easy earn money but difficult to earn good name. Be role model to others with your good deeds”, he added. Later he has given power point presentation on bevahiour pattern, communication skills with pilgrims and enlightened the barbers.

Health Officer Dr Sermista informed the barbers about the precautionary measures to be taken during tonsuring. “If the pilgrim is suffering from skin allergies, always wear hand gloves and masks while doing tonsuring actvity. Use hyper solution, dettol to clean your hands and maintain hygiene”, she added. The officer also said, the barbers are already administered Hepatitis B vaccine as a preventive measure.

Earlier DyEO KKC Smt Nagaratna said, the two days orientation programme for barbers is mulled aimed at extracting more transparent services from them.

మార్చి 07, తిరుమల 2018: అఖిలాండకోటి బ్రహ్మండనాయకుడైన తిరుమల శ్రీవారి దర్శనానికి విచ్చేసే లక్షలాది మంది భక్తులు అత్యంత భక్తి శ్రద్ధలతో సమర్పించే తలనీలాలు తీసే క్షురకుల సేవలు ఎంతో పవిత్రమైనవని టిటిడి కల్యాణకట్ట డెప్యూటీఈవో శ్రీమతి నాగరత్న అన్నారు. తిరుమల ఆస్థానమండపంలో బుధవారం ఉదయం దాదాపు 500 మందికి పైగా క్షురకులకు అవగాహన కార్యక్రమం నిర్వహించారు.

ఈ సందర్భంగా డెప్యూటీఈవో మాట్లాడుతూ టిటిడి ప్రతిష్ట పెంచేలా కల్యాణకట్ట క్షురకులు పనిచేయాలని కోరారు. విమర్శలకు అవకాశం లేకుండా తప్పులను సవరించుకొని నిజాయితీగా, బాధ్యతగా, నిస్వార్థంతో మరింత జవాబుదారీగా పనిచేయాలన్నారు. భగవంతుడు ఇచ్చిన అవకాశాన్ని ప్రతి ఒక్కరు సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని కోరారు.

అనంతరం టిటిడి ఆరోగ్య విభాగం అధికారి డా|| శర్మిష్ఠ మాట్లాడుతూ భక్తుల తలనీలాలు తీసేటప్పుడు క్షురకులు తీసుకోవలసిన జాగ్రత్తలను వివరించారు. ఇందులో భాగంగా తలనీలాలు తీసే సమయంలో సన్న పేను, దురద, చుండ్రు, చీము, రక్తం వంటి నమూనాలు క్షురకుల చేతులలో, గోర్లలో ఉంటాయి కావున ఎప్పటికప్పుడు హైపర్‌ సొల్యుషన్‌, డెటాల్‌తో శుభ్రం చేసుకోవాలన్నారు. అంతేగాక ప్రతిరోజు వేలాది మంది భక్తులకు సేవలందించేందుకు చేతులకు గ్లౌజ్‌, ముఖానికి మాస్క్‌లు,టిష్యూ పేపర్లు ఉపయోగించాలన్నారు. టిటిడి ఆరోగ్య విభాగం ఆధ్వర్యంలో ఇప్పటికే క్షురకులకు హెపటైటిస్‌ బి వ్యాక్సిన్‌ వేసినట్లు తెలిపారు.

అంతకుముందు ప్రముఖ మానవ వనరుల నిపుణులు శ్రీ రఘోత్తమరావు ఉపన్యసిస్తూ సంస్థ లక్ష్యాలను ప్రతి ఒక్కరు సాధించాలని, వారివారి విధులను చిత్తశుద్ధితో నిర్వర్తిస్తే సంస్థ ప్రతిష్ట ఇనుమడిస్తుందన్నారు. క్షురకులు భక్తులకు సేవచేయడం, భగవంతునికి సేవచేయడమేనని పురాణాలు, రామాయణంలోని పలు సన్నివేశాలతో వివరించారు.

అనంతరం మానవ వనరుల నిపుణులు శ్రీ చల్లా శివకుమార్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ సంస్థలో పనిచేసే అధికారులు, ఉద్యోగుల మధ్య సమాచారలోపంను అధిగమించి ఎలా విధులు నిర్వహించాలనే అంశంపై పవర్‌ పాయింట్‌ ప్రజెంటెషన్‌ (పిపిటి) ద్వారా వివరించారు. ఇందులో సమాచార నైపుణ్యం, సరైన సమాచార ప్రసారం, ధృడమైన మానవ సంబంధాలు తదితర అంశాలపై అవగాహన కల్పించారు.
