Tirumala, 19 August 2017: “Offer transparent services to pilgrims with love and devotion and enhance the image of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams across the globe”, said the Chief Vigilance and Security Officer of TTD Sri Ake Ravikrishna.
A orientation programme to Kalyanakatta tonsuring staff was held in Asthana Mandapam on Saturday. Speaking on this occasion, the CVSO said the tradition of offering hair with devotion before paying obeisance to Lord Venkateswara has been continuing since several centuries. “Today the society is civilized because of you. You hold the entire credit of making a human civilized. Your selfless services will not only enhance your image but also the reputation of the institution at large. The entire world is watching our every move. So we should also be more legitimate in offering our best possible services to pilgrims. If the tradition has to sustain for 1000 more years, then you should take oath to offer transparent and dedicated services to pilgrims. We will install advanced CC cameras in Klayana Kattas also apart from all places. You all will function under the eagle eye of vigilance. So offer the best part of your services to visiting pilgrims with transparency”, he reiterated.
Earlier, VGO Sri Ravindra informed the kalyanakatta tonsurers to offer impeccable services to pilgrims as the annual brahmotsavams are fast approaching.
Kalyana Katta DyEO Sri Venkataiah said, on an average every day nearly 40 thousand pilgrims are offering hair to Lord out of fulfillment of the wish with devotion. “The responsibility is increasing day by day on us. So offer more dedicated services and enhance the reputation of the institution in the eyes of public”, he added.

శనివారంనాడు తిరుమలలోని ఆస్థానమండపంలో కల్యాణకట్టలో విధులు నిర్వహిస్తున్న క్షురకులకు సి.వి.ఎస్‌.ఓ శ్రీ ఆకే. రవికృష్ణ ఆధ్వర్యంలో పునశ్ఛరణ కార్యక్రమాన్ని నిర్వహించారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ తిరుమలలో స్వామివారికి భక్తులు తలనీలాలు సమర్పించడం అనే ఆచారం అనాదిగా వస్తున్నదన్నారు. ఈ క్రమంలో క్షురకుల సేవలు పొందిన అనంతరమే స్వామివారిని భక్తులు దర్శిస్తున్నారన్నారు. సమాజానికి నాగరికత నేర్పిన ఘనత క్షురకులదన్నారు. ఇంత గొప్ప వృత్తి ధర్మాన్ని అనుసరిస్తున్న క్షురకులు భక్తుల మనోభావాలకు అనుగుణంగా వ్యవహరించాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందన్నారు.
”మరో 1000 ఏండ్ల వరకు తిరుమలకు విచ్చేసే భక్తులు ముందుగా తలనీలాలు సమర్పించే విధంగా మీ వ్యవహారశైలి ఉండాలి. మన ప్రతిచర్య మన సంస్థయొక్క కీర్తిని ప్రభావితం చేస్తుందన్న అంశాన్ని మరువకూడదు. ప్రపంచవ్యాప్తంగా భక్తులు మన ప్రతిచర్యను గమనిస్తున్నారన్న విషయాన్ని మీరందరూ గమనించాలి. కల్యాణకట్టలో విధులు నిర్వహించే సిబ్బంది మరింత పారదర్శకంగా వ్యవహరించాలి. తిరుమలలో అన్ని ప్రాంతాలతోపాటు కల్యాణకట్టలో కూడా మరింత ఉన్నత ప్రమాణాలతో కూడిన సాంకేతిక పరికరాలను, సిసిటివిలను త్వరలో ఏర్పాటు చేయనున్నాము. మీరందరూ నిఘా నేత్రాల క్రింద భక్తులకు మరింత పారదర్శకమైన సేవలందించే విధంగా నేటి నుండే సంకల్పించాలి”, అని సి.వి.ఎస్‌.ఓ ఉద్ఘాటించారు.
అంతకు పూర్వం వి.జి.ఓ శ్రీ రవీంద్రారెడ్డి మాట్లాడుతూ యాత్రికులు ఎక్కడా ఇబ్బంది పడకుండా కల్యాణకట్ట సిబ్బంది సేవలందిచాలన్నారు. త్వరలో రానున్న బ్రహ్మూెత్సవాలలో భక్తకోటికి విశేషసేవలను పారదర్శకంగా అందించాలని ఆయన అన్నారు.
అనంతరం కల్యాణకట్ట ఉపకార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ వెంకటయ్య మాట్లాడుతూ రోజుకు 40,000 మందికి తగ్గకుండా భక్తులు తలనీలాలు సమర్పిస్తున్నారన్నారు. భవిష్యత్తులో ఈ సంఖ్య మరింత పెరగనుందన్నారు. అటువంటి భక్తులకు పారదర్శకమైన సేవలందించడంతో మనం ఒక
ఉన్నతమైన సందేశాన్ని ప్రపంచానికి అందించాలన్నారు. తద్వారా తి.తి.దే యొక్క ప్రతిష్టను ఇనుమడింపజేయాలని ఆయన పిలుపునిచ్చారు.
అటు తరువాత విధులు నిర్వహించేటప్పుడు చేయవలసినవి, చేయకూడని నియమావళిని సి.వి.ఎస్‌.ఓ తెరమీద దృశ్యరూపంలో కల్యాణకట్ట సిబ్బందికి వివరించారు. అనంతరం కల్యాణకట్ట సిబ్బందితో భక్తులకు పారదర్శకంగా సేవలందించే విధంగా ప్రతిజ్ఞ చేయించారు.
