PAVITHROTSAVAMS IN SRI KAPILESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE CONCLUDES ON A RELIGIOUS NOTE

Tirupati, 18 July 2016: The three-day annual festival of Salakatla Pavithrotsavams concluded on a religious note in Sri Kapileswara Swamy Temple in Tirupati on Monday with Pavithra Purnahuti being performed at Yagashala in the evening inside the Tirumala shrine.

Pavithras, the garlands made from special thread are taken in a procession and used to decorate Sri Kapileswara Swamy, Sri Kamakshi Ammavaru, Sri Vigneswara Swamy Varu, Sri Subramanyam Swamy Varu, Sri Chandikesavaswamy Varu inside Temple.

Temple DyEO Sri Balaji, temple staff and large number of devotees took part in this programme.
