PETA UTSAVAM HELD FOR LORD RAMA

Tirupati, 23 February 2016: The Peta Utsavam of Lord Sri Kodanda Rama Swamy was observed in a ceremonious manner in Kupchandrapeta in Tirupati Rural Mandal on Tuesday.

The processional deities were bro it from Sri Kodana Ramalayam and was taken in a procession to this traditional place where snapana Tirumanjanam was performed with religious fervour. Later the deities were brought back to the temple in the evening. Usually this fete is performed on the auspicious day of Magha Pournami.
