BHAJANA MANDALIS SHOULD PROPAGATE BHAKTI IN AGENCY AREAS-CHAIRMAN

Tirupati, 23 February 2016: TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy on Tuesday called upon the members of Bhajan mandalis to take up propagation of Bhakti in a big way in agency areas which are more vulnerable to religious conversions.

Addressing the conclusion ceremony of Bhajana Mandalis in Govindaraja chowltries in Tirupati on Tuesday he said, the Bhajan troupes are doing commendable services in in taking up BHAKTI Prachara through folk art forms like kolatalu, tappetagullu etc. He also felt the need to take up this tradition in a big way even to next gyration also.

Later in his address TIrupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, there are several thousands of Bhajan troupes enrolled in HDPP. “We are chalking out an action plan to give chance to all these troupes by selecting them in an order and inviting them to take part in big religious events like Brahmotsavams, Garuda Seva etc. We are contemplating to train even young artistes with expert Bhajan artistes”, he maintained.

HDPP Secretary Sri P Ramakrishna, DyEO Sri Dhananjeyulu, over 2000 Bhajan artistes were present.
