“PILGRIM-FRIENDLY NEXT GEN WEBSITE IN OFFING” – TTD EO
Tirumala, 3 June 2016: With an aim to reach more number of global pilgrims in the most possible effective and transparent manner, TTD is designing a “Pilgrim Friendly Next Gen Website” with an “All New” look, which will be launched in a month’s period, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
After the Dial your EO Programme, addressing media persons in Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday, the EO said, TTD official Website will be launched with a refreshing and qualitative look by next month and TCS and TTD IT wings are seriously exercising on this pilgrim friendly website”, he added.

Later the TTD EO thanked the pilgrims, strong work force and Srivari Sevakulu for making darshan during the peak summer season a smooth journey. “The pilgrims have waited with patience till their turn for darshan and all our employees and volunteers have rendered impeccable services to the scores of pilgrims. I thank all of them for their co-operation”, he maintained.
13 DIVYA DESAMS COVERED IN FIRST PHASE-TIRUPTAI JEO
TTD Joint EO Sri P Bhaskar said, in the first phase of Ramanuja Sancharam, over 13 Divya Desams have been covered in Karantaka and Kerala. We are planning to commence our next phase likely from Kanyakumari in July”, he added.
TELUGU PANCHANGAM ON THE LINES OF PAMBU PANCHANGAM-SO
The special officer of All Projects, Sri N Muktheswara Rao said that TTD is contemplating to design a unique panchangam on the lines of the most popular “Pambu Panchangam” of Tamilians. “We have already studied eight prominent panchangams in the country and brought amendments in our TTD Panchangam this year. We will enhance the quality further by year next”, he added.
MORE RO PLANTS:
TTD CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy said, TTD will come up with more number of RO plants to meet the needs of the pilgrims. We also plan to place geisers and heaters for winter and rainy seasons soon.
MORE YOUTH FOR SRIVARI SEVA
To enhance the quality of service, more number of Srivari Sevakulu from young generation will be invited for srivari seva and an action plan is under process said, TTD PRO Dr T Ravi.

With a new set of programmes including Annamaiah Pataku Pattabhishekam, the SVBC has been increasing its viewership across the globe, said CEO SVBC Sri Narashimhulu.
FOOD SERVED TO OVER 60 LAKHS IN MAY
With Tirumala being caught in the pilgrim flood during last month in the vacation season, TTD has served food round the clock in compartments, queue lines, outside lines etc. “When 25 lakhs had darshan, over 60 lakhs were served Annaprasadam in Tirumala during last month”, said Annaprasadam Special Gr DyEO Smt Chenchu Lakshmi.
ACCIDENT FREE MONTH
With the stern measures initiated by the TTD Security wing, the department has succeeded in making a record of “Accident Free” month in May in the ghat roads, said TTD Chief Security Officer Sri Ravinder Reddy.
