PILGRIM RUSH CONTINUES ON SUNDAY

EO AND JEO INSPECT QUEUE LINES

TIRUMALA, 14 June, 15: The final day of this summer vacation has witnessed swarm of pilgrim crowd which continued on Sunday as every inch in the hill town of Tirumala was occupied by multitude of visiting pilgrims.

It appeared as if the Tirumala Hills have faced a stiff competition from the heavy pilgrim crowd influx which also appeared as a replica hill with serpentine queue lines becoming order of the day every where near temple, Annaprasadam, luggage centres, tonsuring areas etc.

TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao who has been personally monitoring the queue lines since Saturday evening, continued his inspection spree on Sunday also. The EO along with temple DyEO Sri C Ramana inspected the movement of queue lines inside Padikavali, Dhwajasthambham, Vendivakili and Bangaru Vakili.

JEO INSPECTS QUEUE LINES:

On the other hand Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju has also inspected the queue lines inside temple, footpath queue line at Narayanagiri Gardens, Sarva Darshan queue lines etc. and instructed the Annaprasadam and Health wings to supply food and water at regular intervals utilising the services of Srivari Sevakulu.

Later speaking to media, the JEO attributed the heavy pilgrim influx to the summer vacation end coupled with week end rush. “With the team work of our staff we have provided hassle free darshan to 1,00719 pilgrims on Saturday”, he added.
