TTD EO PERSONALLY SUPERVISES ARRANGEMENTS

TIRUMALA, 1 January 2017: The pilgrims who thronged the abode of Lord Venkateswara for New Year darshan expressed their immense pleasure when they had a hassle free darshan and thanked TTD for the elaborate arrangements.

The New Year commenced on a successful note when the darshan for pilgrims commenced by TTD well before scheduled time for commoners at 2:40am with the efforts of the work force under the instructions of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao in the supervision of Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju on Sunday.

The Annaprasadam and Health departments of TTD also made arrangements in providing free food and water at regular intervals for the waiting pilgrims.

The sectoral officers who were deployed for crowd management also maintained pilgrim queue lines in a systematic manner with the assistance of srivari seva volunteers and scouts besides TTD security without causing any inconvenience to pilgrims.

NEW YEAR WISHES BY TTD CHAIRMAN: Meanwhile TTD Trust Board Chief Dr Ch Krishnamurthy congratulated TTD mandarins and employees for the hassle free darshan and other arrangements organised giving priority of darshan to common pilgrims with a perfect action plan.
