PILGRIMS SHOULD LEND THEIR SUPPORT TO SUBHAPRADHAM-TTD EO

TIRUMALA, APRIL 23:  TTD EO Sri LV Subramanyam on Tuesday appealed to the devotees to join their hands in TTD’s noble and novel mission of creating the country’s best citizens by inculcating moral values to the students through “Subhapradham” programme.
 
Addressing media persons outside Vasantha mandapam in Tirumala on Tuesday the EO said, with an aim to teach moral values embedded in the ancient Hindu Scriptures to the students of tenth pass outs and Junior inter students, the Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad(HDPP) wing of TTD has specially specially designed Subhapradham. During first phase of the programme last year over 3000 odd students availed the classes while this year, so far 16thousand students have registered for the programme which is slated for May 12 to May 18. 
 
“It is nice to see that the youth of today are very much interested in learning moral values embedded in our scriptures. Therefore it becomes the responsibility of the pilgrims also to encourage them. TTD is spending nearly Rs.2216 on each student. I appeal to the devotees to come forward and join their hands in this noble mission. I request the philanthropists to donate to their capacities in the form of DDs addressed to Secretary, Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishand  (Subhapradham), Tirupati”, he added.
 
Meanwhile TTD EO donated an amount of Rs.22160 towards this programme.
