PILGRIMS THRONG SRI KT-HOMA MAHOTSAVAMS ATTRACT HUGE NUMBERS OF DEVOTEES

TIRUPATI, 23 November 2015: Being one of the most important and ancient shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva, Sri Kapileswara Swamy temple located at the heart of the temple city, has been attracting tens of thousands of pilgrims every day, in the auspicious month of Karthika.

Apart from this, the month-long homa mahotsavams mulled by TTD in its sub-shrine is pulling huge number of devout every day. The Ganapathi Homam, Chandi Yagam, Subramanya Homam, Kalabhairava Homam, Dakshinamurthy Homam etc. are being performed in the Yaga Shala of the temple which were witnessed by large number of devotees. As an added attraction this year, the famous Kapilateertham falls, which is gushing out of the Seshachala Ranges after many years, has been providing a delightful feast to the eyes of pilgrim influx.

The devotees irrespective of ages have been thronging the temple to lit the ghee lamps which forms a significant part of exhibiting devotion in this holy month on the shore of the temple tank and in temple premises.
