TIRUMALA, 17 AUGUST 2021: For the peace and prosperity of the entire world, I prayed to Lord Balaji to shower his blessings on humanity, said the Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha, Sri Om Birla.

The LS Speaker who is on a two-day visit to the famous pilgrim centre, had darshan of Sri Venkateswara Swamy in Tirumala temple along with his family on Tuesday.

On his arrival at Mahadwaram, he was welcomed by TTD Trust Board Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy and EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy.

After Darshan, he was rendered Vedasirvachanam at Ranganayakula Mandapam and was presented with Theertha Prasadams and lamination photo of Lord by TTD Chairman and the EO.

Speaking to media outside the temple, he said, “I have immense faith in Lord Venkateswara and with His benign blessings India will soon emerge as a powerful nation in the entire world and also prayed to give all of us enough strength to further boost our Democracy and fulfill all the aspirations of people in the best possible manner”, he added.

Among other important dignitaries who accompanied the Honourable Speaker of Lok Sabha includes, MPs Sri Gurumurthy, Sri Vijaysai Reddy, Sri Mithun Reddy, Sri Bharath.

TTD Additional EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, CVSO Sri Gopinath Jatti, Temple DyEO Sri Ramesh Babu, Reception DyEO Sri Lokanatham were also present.

ఆలయం వద్దకు చేరుకున్న స్పీకర్ కు టిటిడి ధర్మకర్తల మండలి అధ్యక్షులు శ్రీ వైవి.సుబ్బారెడ్డి, ఈఓ డాక్టర్ కెఎస్.జవహర్ రెడ్డి, అదనపు ఈఓ శ్రీ ఎవి.ధర్మారెడ్డి, సివిఎస్వో శ్రీ గోపినాథ్ జెట్టి సంప్రదాయబద్ధంగా స్వాగతం పలికి దర్శన ఏర్పాట్లు చేశారు.

స్పీకర్ శ్రీ ఓం బిర్లా ముందుగా ధ్వజస్తంభానికి నమస్కరించి ఆ తరువాత మూలమూర్తి దర్శనం చేసుకున్నారు. దర్శనానంతరం రంగనాయక మండపంలో వేదపండితులు వేదాశీర్వచనం చేశారు. ఈ సందర్భంగా టిటిడి ఛైర్మన్, ఈఓ కలిసి శ్రీవారి తీర్థప్రసాదాలు, డైరీ, క్యాలెండర్, కాఫీ టేబుల్ బుక్ అందించారు.
