“PREPARE MORE QUALITATIVE AND HYGIENIC LADDUS WITH TRANSPARENT MECHANISM”-TTD EO
Tirumala, 27 August 2015: TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao called upon the officials of Potu to evolve better mechanisms to issue tastier laddus with more transparency.
A review meeting on laddu prasadam with Potu officials and Potu workers took place at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday evening.
Addressing them he said, after the darshan of Lord Venkateswara, the pilgrims vie for the mouth-watering Laddu Prasadams. “Hence it becomes a major task for all of us to satisfy the pilgrims by providing more tastier, qualitative and hygienic laddus with transparency”, the EO observed.
He has instructed the potu workers to prepare tastier laddus by properly utilising the allotted Dittam. He has also directed the Health department to perform random checking of the laddu samples at regular intervals.
He has instructed the potu staff members and workers to maintain sufficient number of production of laddus without scarcity for the sake of the multitude of visiting pilgrims.
The EO instructed the vigilance wing to be more vigilant near the Laddu counters. He has instructed the EDP wing to immediately prepare RFID bar code reader for laddu trays to enhance transparency in the process of laddu transactions.
CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar, Additional CVSO Sri Siva Kumar Reddy, temple DyEO Sri C Ramana, VGO Smt Vimala Kumari, Health Officer Dr Sermishta, EDP OSD Sri Balaji Prasad and other potu staff, potu workers were also present.
