Presentation of Silk Vastram by Hon’ble Chief Minister of A.P 

Tirumala, 21 Sep 2010: The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, Sri. K.Rosaiah, today presented a pair of `silk vastrams,’ to Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on behalf of the State Government, in connection with the commencement of Sri Vari Annual Brahmotsavam in Tirumala on Monday.

The Chief Minister carried the silver plate containing the `vastrams’ on his head from the Bedi Anjaneya Swamy temple to the Venkateswara temple, accompanied by temple paraphernalia and `nadaswaram’ music. Later he presented the `vastrams’ to the chief priest, inside the sanctum sanctorum and TTD Chairman presented Sri Vari Prasadam at Ranganayakula Mandapam.

Hon’ble Ministers Sri Ramachandra Reddy, Sri Gade Venkat Reddy, Smt. Galla Aruna Kumari, Local MLA Sri Chiranjeevi,  TTD Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavulu, TTD E.O Sri I.Y.R.Krishna Rao, TTD Board Members Sri Ch.Satyanarayana, Sri Yadaiah, Dr. Anjaiah, Smt. Indira Reddy, TTD Spl Officer Sri A.V.Dharma Reddy, C.V&S.O Sri  P.V.S.Ramakrishna Rao and other Govt, and TTD Officials were present.
