PROMOTE ALWARS BHAKTHI CULT TO TODAY YOUTH- TIRUPATI JEO SRI POLA BHASKAR

Tirupati, 31 Jan. 15: TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Pola Bhaskar today exhorted the youth to emulate the divine devotional path of Tamil saint Alwar who had dedicated his entire life in the service of Lord Venkateswara.

Participating in a event got up to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TTD Alwar Divya Prabandh Project, at the SVETA Bhavan, Sri Bhaskar said the life story and devotional tradition propagated by Alwars would help promote Bhakti cult and moral values among the present day youth who were blindly apeing western traditions, fashion and practices.

He suggested that Saint Alwar’s sermons and writings should be published in simple language and in small booklets for distribution among the youth. The TTD Alwar Divya Prabandh Project would be made a critical component of the Hindu dharma pracharam. The publications and research on Saint Alwars collection of teachings etc will be handed over to the SV University, he said.

The JEO Sri Bhaskar said TTD had decided to increase the honorarium to Alwar Prabandha Parayanadars and also special programs would be conducted throughout the year in the places of Saint Alwars birth as per his Janma Nakshatram.
Later Sri Sri Sri Pedda Jeeyangar and Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyangars presented Mangala sasanams and blessed that the TTD Alwar Divya Prabandha Project should become popular and scale new heights.
