SELECTION OF ARTISTS FOR NADA NEERAJANAM

Tirumala, January 31: TTD Executive officer Dr. D Sambashiva Rao said today that TTD would expand its Hindu Dharma pracharam campaign across the world through the Nada Neerajanam program.

He was addressing the artisans at the Padmavathi Rest House this morning after the selection of artists for the Nada Neeranjanam campaign programme. Prominent artists in Music and dance were performing at Nada Neeranjanam platform at
Tirumala to propagate Hindu dharma and Srivari glory ‘ he said.

He said the SVBC one of the world renowned bhakti channels, would broadcast the programs of Nada Neeranjanam through the year and on a daily basis 20 lakh devotees viewed the live program on Nada Niranjanam enabling the devotees from rural areas also as stake holders in the Dharma pracharam.

The EO also advised that along with Telugu artists in Kannada, Tamil, Hindi and Oriya languages also should be encouraged on Nada Neerajanam besides providing opportunity for devotion based folk programs as well. The talented artists from Sri Venkateswara Music and Dance college also should be given a chance.

Earlier the EO led the entire audience in observing a two minutes silence to pay homage to prominent Music scholar Sri Nenduri Krishnamurthy. He also congratulated the TTD Asthana Vidhwamsuralu and Nada Niranjanam selection committee member Kum. Kanyakumari on her begetting Padmashri award on the Republic Day.

Prominent among those who participated were Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, SVBC CEO Sri Madhusudhan Rao, Nada Niranjanam selection committee president Sri P V R K Prasad, convenor Sri Pappu Venugopala Rao, members –Smt Ganga Devi, Smt Veena Murthy, Smt Kavitha Dwivedi, Sri Pudukottai Krishnamurthy and Sri Komanduri Sheshadri, HDPP Deputy EO Sri Dhananjaya and TTD PRO Sri T Ravi.
