Tirupati,14 March 2022:TTD JEO (Education & Health) Smt Sada Bhargavi directed officials on Monday to prepare an action plan to round up orphans, beggars and destitute roaming in and around Tirupati city and admit them to SV Poor Home and SV Bala mandir to provide them a bright future.

Addressing representatives of Sri Ramakrishna Mission, ISKCON and other organisations at her chambers’ in TTD Administrative Building, the TTD JEO said the new program is initiated as per directions of TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy to provide Srivari blessings and succour to orphans, abandoned, destitute starving on roads of pilgrim city of Tirupati. The assistance already given by some organisations should be brought under the umbrella of SV Sarvasreyas Trust through financial assistance and other logistic support.

She asked TTD officials to prepare an action plan and if necessary, support from governmental organisations like ICDS(Integrated Child Development Services) and municipalities will also be roped in.

The program envisaged provision of food, accommodation, clothing, education to these sections of children to shape up with a bright future for them. Similarly destitute women may be provided shelter at SV Poor Home and give them mental happiness through Srivari blessings, which is also a part of TTD’s agenda. 
She said the program will be initiated in Tirupati city during the first phase and later extended to other districts and the entire state in future.

TTD proposes to conduct two more sessions with voluntary organisations on the issue and one representative from each organisation will be selected and trained to implement the noble agenda, she added.

Smt Sridevi and Sri Viswaraj Anand from Ramakrishna Mission, Sri Mohan Govind Das and Sri Madhugopal Haridas from ISKCON, TTD DyEO cum DEO Sri Govindarajan, DyEO Sri Rama Rao, SV Poor Home Medical Officer Dr Bharat were also present.
