PROVIDE GOOF PROOF SECURITY TO DEVOTEES OF BRAHMOTSAVAM_ TTD EO Dr D SAMBASIVA RAO

Tirupati, 7 September 2016: TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao today directed the Vigilance and Security officials to provide efficient and fool-proof security to the huge crowds of devotees anticipated to participate in the ensuring annual Brahmotsavam from October 2.

He reviewed the preparations and arrangements for the nine day long devotional event of Brahmotsavam at his chambers in the TTD admin buildings today with chiefs of TTD vigilance, security and SPF.

He instructed them to rectify minor lapses that had cropped up in the last Brahmotsavam events and ensure hassle free security and protection to the devotees who thronged the hill shrine in lakhs for the celestial event. He wanted them to ensure efficient arrangements at Tirumala for both entry and exit of devotees from the four mada streets after the vahana sevas.

The TTD EO said adequate security officers should be posted on the mada streets to see that the movement of the cultural troupes in front of the Vahana sevas are properly regulated. The TTD vigilance, security wings should coordinate with the police department to protect the devotees from any untoward incidents. All the luggage of the walking devotees received at the Tirupati and Srinivasa Mangapuram walkers path points should be transported to Tirumala in time and handed over to the devotees.

Dr Rao urged that all the front line wings of TTD- Engineering, health, power, radio and broadcasting should coordinate efficiently and prepare an action plan for all arrangements and for conduction of event. He said necessary security staff could be outsourced wherever they were needed for the service of devotees.

The EO was very candid that the security should assist the devotees without any hassles in procuring laddu prasadam, annaprasadam.
