RAMANUJA TAUGHT THE HUMANITY EQUALITY THROUGH BHAKTI MOVEMENT – SCHOLARS

Tirupati, 20 April 2017: The scholars unanimously declared Sri Ramanuja as the great saint who transformed the disintegrated human race on the path of equality through Sri Vaishanava Bhakti Movement.

During the second day of the ongoing three day special literary programme on Sri Ramanujacharya on his millennium birth anniversary at Annamacharya Kalamandiram organised under the aegis of Alwar Divya Prabandha Project of TTD on Thursday in Tirupati. Speaking on this occasion various scholars unequivocally said that Ramanuja reformed the society some 1000 years ago itself over coming all the age old restrictions.

Dr Samudrala Lakshmanaiah, Puranetihasa Project Special Officer spoke on Ramanujulu-Bhakti Udyamam while Dr Chakravarthi Raghavan delivered speech on Ramanujulu – Srimadramayanam.

Renowned scholars Sri KT Ramanujacharya, Sri KS Ramanujam and Sri PB Rajahamsam also rendered speeches on various interesting subjects related to Ramanujacharya.

Alwar Project Special Officer Sri Chokkalingam supervised the arrangements.
