TTD TO EXTEND LADDU PRASADA SEVA SERVICES TO 20 COUNTERS
TIRUMALA, 20 April 2017: The Srivari Seva volunteers are the blessed soldiers selected by none other than Lord Himself to serve his beloved pilgrims, advocated TTD Executive Officer Dr D Sambasiva Rao.
The TTD top brass officer did surprise inspection to Srivari Seva to observe the training programme and other office proceedings in the office on Thursday.
Speaking to Srivari Seva volunteers on this occasion, the EO said, the Srivari Seva has been started by TTD about 17 years ago with a noble intention to provide the best possible services to visiting pilgrims with fellow pilgrims. “On any given day not less than 1500 and during peak days nearly 3000 sevakulu have been rendering tremendous services to pilgrims. Very soon we will address your problems of accommodation, multiple registration and issuing identification cards”, he assured.
Later the EO complimented Satya Sai Seva Organisation and Srivari Seva office for the satsang and bhajan training programme being imparted to sevakulu every day both in the morning and evening sessions for about an hour.
After Srivari Seva meeting, speaking to media persons the EO said, the Laddu counters are successfully operated by Laddu Prasada Sevakulu in an excellent manner and majority of the pilgrims are expressing their satisfaction over the service in counters. At present we are running 10 laddu counters and four cover sale counters with the sevakulu and from May 1 on wards, we will extend their services to six more counters taking the total to 20 counters”, he added.
TTD CE Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, VGO Sri Ravindra Reddy, Health Officer Dr Sermista, EDP OSD Sri Balaji Prasad, PRO Dr T Ravi were also present.
