Tarigonda, September 28, 2026: TTD Chairman Sri B.R. Naidu on Monday laid the foundation stone for the renovation of the nearly 200-year-old Pushkarini at Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Tarigonda at a cost of Rs.1.50 crore from TTD funds.
Speaking on the occasion, the Chairman said he was happy to initiate the renovation of the historic Pushkarini in Tarigonda, the birthplace of Matru Sri Tarigonda Vengamamba. He recalled that TTD has established an Annaprasadam distribution centre in Tirumala in the name of Tarigonda Vengamamba. He directed officials to complete the Pushkarini renovation works quickly and as per quality standards for the benefit of devotees.
TTD JEO Dr. A. Sarat said remembering Lord Venkateswara promotes peace and harmony in society. As part of Dharma Pracharam, he appealed to people to visit temples and strengthen their devotion. He said, as directed by Chief Minister Sri N. Chandrababu Naidu, TTD has initiated works for the construction of 5,000 temples through the SVANI Trust. The Pushkarini renovation works at Tarigonda will be completed within the stipulated time, he added.
Poornakumbha Welcome
The TTD Chairman was accorded a Poornakumbha welcome by the priests on his arrival at the temple. He had darshan of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy and received Vedic blessings. The Chairman and Board members were felicitated with shawls and presented with Teertha Prasadam.
After circumambulating the temple, the Chairman performed special prayers and unveiled the foundation stone for the Pushkarini renovation works.

తరిగొండ, సెప్టెంబరు 28, 2026: తరిగొండలోని శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి ఆలయానికి సుమారు 200 ఏళ్ల చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం కలిగిన పుష్కరిణిని రూ.1.50 కోట్ల టీటీడీ నిధులతో పునరుద్ధరించేందుకు సోమవారం శంకుస్థాపన జరిగింది. టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు, బోర్డు సభ్యులు, పీలేరు ఎమ్మెల్యే శ్రీ నల్లారి కిషోర్ కుమార్ రెడ్డి, జేఈవో డా. ఎ. శరత్ తదితరులతో కలిసి అభివృద్ధి పనులకు శంకుస్థాపన చేశారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడు మాట్లాడుతూ, శ్రీ మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ జన్మస్థలమైన తరిగొండలో శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి ఆలయ పుష్కరిణి పునరుద్ధరణకు శంకుస్థాపన చేయడం ఆనందంగా ఉందన్నారు. తిరుమలలో మాతృశ్రీ తరిగొండ వెంగమాంబ పేరుతో అన్నప్రసాదాల వితరణ కేంద్రాన్ని ఏర్పాటు చేసిన విషయాన్ని గుర్తుచేశారు. పుష్కరిణి పునరుద్ధరణ పనులను నాణ్యతా ప్రమాణాలతో, వేగంగా పూర్తి చేసి భక్తులకు అందుబాటులోకి తీసుకురావాలని అధికారులను ఆదేశించారు.
టీటీడీ జేఈవో డా. ఎ. శరత్ మాట్లాడుతూ, శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారిని స్మరించడంతో సమాజంలో శాంతి, సౌభ్రాతృత్వం పెంపొందుతాయని అన్నారు. ధర్మప్రచారంలో భాగంగా ప్రతి ఒక్కరూ ఆలయాలను సందర్శించి భక్తిభావాన్ని పెంపొందించుకోవాలని కోరారు. ముఖ్యమంత్రి శ్రీ నారా చంద్రబాబు నాయుడు ఆదేశాల మేరకు శ్రీవాణి ట్రస్ట్ ద్వారా 5 వేల ఆలయాల నిర్మాణానికి టీటీడీ బోర్డు శ్రీకారం చుట్టిందని తెలిపారు. తరిగొండ శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి ఆలయ పుష్కరిణి పునరుద్ధరణ పనులను నిర్ణీత గడువులో పూర్తి చేస్తామని చెప్పారు.
పూర్ణకుంభ స్వాగతం – ప్రత్యేక పూజలు
తరిగొండ ఆలయానికి చేరుకున్న టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ బీఆర్ నాయుడుకు అర్చకులు పూర్ణకుంభ స్వాగతం పలికారు. అనంతరం స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకుని వేదాశీర్వచనం పొందారు. చైర్మన్, పాలకమండలి సభ్యులను శాలువాలతో సత్కరించి తీర్థప్రసాదాలు అందజేశారు.
ఆలయ ప్రదక్షిణ అనంతరం శ్రీ లక్ష్మీ నరసింహస్వామివారి చిత్రపటానికి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించి, పుష్కరిణి పునరుద్ధరణ అభివృద్ధి పనులకు సంబంధించిన శిలాఫలకాన్ని ఆవిష్కరించారు.
