SAHASRA KALASABHISHEKAM IN SRI KRT ON JULY 4

Tirupati, 2 July 2016: TTD will conduct Sahasra Kalashabhisekham and Hanumanth Vahana seva at Sri Kodandarama Swamy Temple on Amavasya, July 4 in a grand and colorful manner.

The colorful event of Sahasra Kalashabhisekham will be performed on Monday morning from 6am to 8am. The devotee couple participating in the event for a payment of Rs.500 will be presented with an Uttariyam (khanduva), Blouse piece, one laddu and Vada.

The Hanumantha Vahana seva will be performed from 7pm to 9pm in the evening. Puran legends highlight that Hanumantha is a deliver from evil thoughts and evil forces. According to Vaikhana Agama shastras the Amavasya, Pournima, Shukla Ekadasi, Krishna Ekadasi and the days of Sravanam and Punarvasu Nakshatrams have great religious and aesthetic values.

On July 5, the day of Punarvasu nakshatram when Sri Rama was born a grand Kalyanotsavam will be performed at the Sri Kondarama temple in which desirous couple could participate for a payment of Rs.500 only.

Later in the evening utsava idols of Sri Rama Sita and Lakshman will be taken in a procession on the mada streets of the temple and further accorded Unjal seva at the near by Sriramachandra Pushkarini.

TTD has requested all the participant devotees to be dressed in traditional attires.
