TENS OF THOUSANDS OF PILGRIMS CONVERGE IN GALLERIES

LORD SURYANARAYANA RIDES PRIDE ON SURYA PRABHA VAHANAM

Tirumala, 3 February 2017: The divine splendour of Saptha Vahana Seva has been witnessed by tens of thousands of pilgrims in Tirumala on Friday on the auspicious occasion of Radhasaptami.

Earlier the day began with the Lord taking a pride ride on mighty Surya Prabha Vahanam. All the four mada streets were abuzz with pilgrim activity.

Ttd had made elaborate arrangements of drinking water, annaprasadam, security arrangements for the pilgrims. The Srivari sevakulu served food packets and water sachets to pilgrims and also controlled them in an order.

SV BALAMANDIR STUDENTS STEAL THE SHOW:

The cultural programs are a special attraction during the Radhasaptami event. The dance troops performed various art forms in front of Vahanam devas which added colour to the event.

The rhythmic recitation of Aditya Hridayam and Suryastakam by children of SV Balamandir stood out among all as the students grabbed the attention of devotees with their concert.

Meanwhile after Surya Prabhavahana Seva completed successfully with the first rays of Sun touching the holy feet of Lord, the Vahanam series was followed by Chinna Sesha, Garuda, Hanumantha Vahanam completing the fore noon vahanams. Chakrasnanam was performed between 2pm and 3pm.

The evening Vahana Sevas commenced with Kalpavriksha, Sarvabhoopala and concluded with Chandraprabha Vahanam in the moon light.

TTD board members Sri AV Ramana, Sri Bhanu prakash Reddy, Sri Ananta, Smt Suchitra Ella, JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, CVSO Incharge Sri Srinivas, Urban SP Smt Jayalakshmi and others were also present.

Meanwhile TTD has cancelled all privilege darshans, arjitha sevas and VIP break darshan on Friday in connection with Radhasaptami.
