SARVA DARSHAN FOR PILGRIMS TO COMMENCE BY 6:30AM ON V-DAY-TTD EO
TIRUMALA, DECEMBER 16: The vaikuntha ekadasi darshan for commoners will commence by 6:30am and will last upto Ekantha Seva on December 17, said the executive officer of TTD, Sri IYR Krishna Rao.
Briefing media persons on the Vaikuntha Ekadasi day arrangements at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday the EO said, the temple management has allotted only an hour slot for VIP darshan which will take place between 5:30am to 6:30am. Giving preference to the commoners who prefer to come in Sarva Darshan and Divya Darshan(footpath route pilgrims), the darshan for these two categories of pilgrims will commence by 6:30am onwards simultaneously. Meanwhile, he said, the Rs.300 Pratyeka Pravesha Darshan(Special Entry Darshan) will commence after 9am. “The gates for this category of pilgrims will be opened only after 7:30am and the tickets will be issued from 9:00am onwards”, he added.
Mr. Rao said, already 20thousand tickets have been issued to the pilgrims who reached Tirumala through Alipiri and Srivarimettu foot path routes. “For December 17 darshan these pilgrims will be allowed in compartments by Thursday night 9:00pm onwards”, the EO maintained.
He said, TTD has made elaborate arrangements for the sake of the visiting pilgrims and see that no inconvenience is caused to them on this auspicious day. TTD has also kept ready a buffer stock of four lakh laddus to meet the demand of the pilgrims. The pilgrims who are waiting in the queue lines will be offered with food packets, water at regular intervals of time.
The EO said, no special darshan facility will be entertained for the Govindamala devotees and also the physically disabled, infant with parents and aged pilgrims during Ekadasi and Dwadasi days.
The processional deity of Malayappa Swamy and his consorts will be placed in Vahana Mandapam from dawn to desk for the sake of the pilgrims.
