SECURITY ARRANGEMENTS SHOULD BE PILGRIM FRIENDLY-TTD EO

TIRUMALA, 31 Jul. 15: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao has instructed the Vigilance wing of TTD to make pilgrim – friendly security arrangements to pilgrims during the upcoming twin Brahmotsavams of Lord Venkateswara.

The TTD Administrative chief reviewed with Vigilance and Security officials of TTD on brahmotsavam arrangements at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday.

He asked the officials concerned to check the past 7-8 years experience and verify the security short comings during annual Brahmotsavams and prepare an action plan with perfect security arrangements to make sure that the pilgrims will not be put any sort of inconvenience”, he maintained.

The EO has instructed the officials to see that the entry-exit in galleries be made with perfection so as to avoid any inconvenience to pilgrims during Vahana Seva. He has directed the officers to submit a detailed action plan on the security arrangements by next meeting.

Later he reviewed with the temple and Vaikuntham officials on Rs.50, Rs.300, Divya Darshan, Sarva Darshan and other privileges darshan lines.

He complimented the staff for executing the line system with efficiency which has been enabling darshan to more number of pilgrims in less time.

The EO has instructed the Temple and Vigilance officials to work with co-ordination during Brahmotsavams by chalking out an action plan to see that there should not be a single waiting compartment and all the darshan lines should clear by 12:30midnight every day during this mega religious event.

CVSO Sri Nagendra Kumar, Additional CVSO Sri Shivakumar Reddy, Temple DyEO Sri C Ramana, EDP OSD Sri Balaji, VGOs Sri Ravinder Reddy, Smt Vimala Kumari, AVSOs, AEOs and superintendents were also present.
