Tirupati, 3 April 2017: TTD being the biggest custodian of Vedic Dharma, should select the best of Vedaparayanamdars during the recruitment without any compromise on expertise front with in a transparent manner, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

A review meeting with senior officers of Tirupati took place in the chambers of TTD EO in the administrative building on Monday. Instructing the concerned officials, the EO said the selection should be completely on merit basis. “Afterwards the selected candidate should showcase their talent in an exclusive programme to be organised by TTD”, he asserted.

Later the EO asked the engineering officials and local temple DyEOs to chalk out a plan to have a centralised shed for all the vahanams of various local temples in TTD instead of separate sheds for each and every temple. “I need you all to discuss and come out with a comprehensive plan on this subject by next meeting”, he added.

The EO instructed to keep enough stock of gold, silver and copper coins stock. “Publicity should be given on the availability of these dollars in SVBC”, he added.

On Sapthagiri magazine, the EO directed the concerned to send a bulk SMS to the Sapthagiri subscribers who have not received the magazine to furnish their correct postal address with correct PIN number. “The quality of printing and content in Sapthagiri should also be improved. Involve eminent writers to bring out the magazine in the best way”, he added.

Instructing the DyEOs of Srinivasam and Vishnunivasam, the EO asked them to ensure proper allotment mechanism of rooms in the two rest houses respectively without giving scope to complaints from pilgrims.

Adding further the EO instructed the officials concerned to upload the soft copy of Bhagavatham on TTD website. “Wide publicity should be given on Govinda TTD mobile app recently launched by TTD to bring awareness among the public in SVBC and other media”, he said.


On the arrangements with respect to Vontimitta Brahmotsavams, the EO asked the departments to organised he annual fete with more efficiency than previous year.

Later the EO also discussed on the development of SVBC 2, Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam Project and HDPP activities.

Special officer All Projects Sri Muktheswara Rao, CE Sri Chandrasekhar Reddy, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji and other HoDs were also present.
